Dear Distinguished Delegates and Faculty Advisors,

It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I invite you to attend the third iteration of Maple High School Model United Nations (MHSMUN), taking place on December 13, 2025, at Maple High School in the heart of Vaughan. MHSMUN is a dynamic 4-in-1 conference featuring General Assemblies, Specialized Agencies, Crisis, and Ad Hoc committees, offering a platform rich with debate, collaboration, and diplomacy.

My name is Mansi Shah, and it is my utmost privilege to serve as your Secretary-General for MHSMUN 2025. I am deeply committed to fostering diplomacy, networking, and inspiration throughout our conference — ensuring that every delegate feels included, respected, and heard. Whether you are a seasoned MUN delegate or just beginning your journey, MHSMUN promises an inclusive and exhilarating experience, one that celebrates growth and leadership through spirited discussion and collaboration.

My own MUN journey began unexpectedly — after watching a Netflix show — and I soon discovered a deep passion for this community. Over the years, MUN has taught me invaluable lessons in adaptability, confidence, and global awareness. As I enter my final year in this incredible journey, I am profoundly grateful for the opportunities it has given me to strengthen my voice, broaden my worldview, and connect with inspiring individuals. Beyond MUN, I enjoy challenging myself through literature, sports, travel, and photography, and I take pride in giving back to my community through volunteer work in hospitals and charity-based events. I firmly believe in the power of creativity, adventure, and optimism, and I aspire for MHSMUN to be a space where delegates can express themselves, challenge ideas, and advocate for meaningful change on a global scale.

To our new delegates, I cannot wait to meet you and watch you thrive. MHSMUN will challenge you to research deeply, think critically, and debate passionately, all while developing the skills that make you both stronger delegates and more thoughtful individuals.

Finally, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our faculty advisors and organizing team — your dedication, leadership, and tireless efforts have been instrumental in bringing MHSMUN 2025 to life. This conference stands as a reflection of your hard work and commitment, and I am endlessly thankful for your support.

Dear Esteemed Delegates,

I am so incredibly honoured to say to you all that the third iteration of Maple High School Model United Nations (MHSMUN) is in motion! I am Vashana Rameshwaran, the Director General for this conference, as well as your personal cheerleader. Model United Nations to me is something that will always be beneficial whether it be for speaking experience, leadership, or any sort of collaboration. No matter the time spent in or out of committee sessions, your hard work and dedication to the craft can always grow, and I assure you, with that the love for MUN will too. MHSMUN is an opportunity abundant conference with your best interest in mind, and every story is a success story if you’ve learned something from it. There will be general and special assemblies, as well as crises catered to helping you thrive during your time here at Maple. 

I appreciate your dedication and energy put into prepping for and allowing yourself to enjoy this conference and as much as MUN may seem like work, those who know what it is to be in MUN understand that the good outweighs the bad always. The community here at maple for Model UN has taught me nothing but to hold gratitude for being able to be apart of something larger than studying and public speaking, but awareness, collaboration and such an incredibly fun time. 

I hope this conference gives you the confidence to take with you throughout life and we are honoured to have you at our school. All in all, I wish you the best and I look forward to seeing your beautiful minds conjure up what they have to offer to the day.
