What is Model UN?
Model United Nations, commonly known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation and academic activity in which students serve as delegates representing various countries or areas of the United Nations.
MHS Model UN allows students to debate and discuss global topics, improve leadership and public speaking abilities, and meet students from other schools in the region.

The History of MapleMUN
Our journey is a testament to our growth and ambition. Commencing with just 20 members in the 2021-2022 school year, we rapidly expanded to nearly 80 in 2022-2023, and now, in 2024 - 2025, we proudly count over 100 members among our ranks in MapleMUN.
Model UN has been a cornerstone of many high school experiences at Maple, very much including my own. With a small yet humble origin in 2019, our club has grown to extents far surpassing the expectations and dreams of our predecessors. Maple MUN students strive to extend a hand into the MUN community.
